The Scottish wildcat is so deeply engrained in the history of Scotland, but with less than 100 wildcats left in the Scottish wild according to experts, the breed is facing extinction.
All is not lost however. In a quiet location at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland's Highland Wildlife Park in the Cairngorms National Park, a dedicated team are hard at work on a mission to save the Scottish Wildcat.
Midas Media has been granted exclusive access to film behind the scenes of undoubtedly one of the most important conservation projects in the world.
